Inscribed by the author to John Scharff (American naturalist memorialized in the annual "John Scarff Migratory Bird Festiva" in Burns Or, manager of the Malheur Bird refuge from 1935-1971 and co-author of "Steens Mountains"). Lower corner of rear cover abraded and some small stains on cover. Otherwise good.
