This books has a story. Published in Algeria during the French occupation and purchased in Tokyo in 1955 we can only guess what that story is. Acceptable condition. 3 small holes in the first 50 pages, small enough that they do not impede reading. Printed on newsprint-like paper probably due to war time conditions. Tissue cover mostly intact. Spine missing cover on lower 1". Its fragile condition is a memento of the times that produced it.
