Very unusual book. 12 pages of aphorisms about friendship according to the title page hand colored by the author. Decorated with gilt and watercolors. This book has a white leather cover decorated with violets which differs from any of the others I have found online. Inscription inside front cover "Many happy returns, my dear Susie" signed S.M. Regis 1907. Some slight soiling and wrinkling of the cover otherwise very good condition.
