Could you walk on the wild side?

Do you dream of moving to a cabin in the mountains to be a writer? Meet some folks who have done just that. You will be able to hear their stories, buy their books and learn how an artist can live out back of beyond.

Authors!

Come one, Come all!

If you are a writer, it does not matter what kind, you are invited. Fiction, history, poetry, it is all good. If you would like to participate, click on the "Contact Us" link in the masthead at the top of this page. There is no charge and we will offer light refreshments and beverages through the afternoon. The event will be inside the Community Center and we have enough tables and chairs to accommodate everyone. If you have any questions, include them in the comments section and we will answer as quickly as we can. For those inclined to be picky about language: we interpret the word "local" in the broadest possible sense. If you can find Canyon City, you are local enough for us.

Looking Forward
