Book Fair Success! (Nobody got hurt)

Considering that this was a first attempt, I think the first book fair was quite successful. Nine local authors showed up to display their works and I estimate around twenty potential buyers came in and many of them bought one or more books.

This is good enough to make me think that it is worth trying a similar event next year. We did not attract many visitors from outside our local area so next time we will try to make the event bigger to justify the long drive visitors have to make to reach us.

If you have any thoughts or ambitions for another literary event, please contact me. I think I will start a more structured organization so this is a call for volunteers and enthusiasts to come forward.
