Things are popping in Grant county. Week before last was the Cinnabar Mountain Rendezvous in Mt Vernon. There was a big parade, and afterwards a barbecue and horseshoe tournament in the park. Last weekend Canyon City was filled with gunslingers for the Cowboy Fast Draw Oregon State Championship. But the really big news is that Oregon Guides Publishing now has an online bookstore. With a physical store in downtown Canyon City, we can now offer our collection of local and regional history to the world. o head on over to DGDriscolls Books website and check it out.
