Before you were or even the thought of you, I tried my hand at doing a comic book. Nobody seemed interested so I did not take it very far. Now I spend a fair amount of time perusing various comics and graphics sites - mostly deviant art, but lots of others as well - and I am not very impressed with way comics are presented online. I think I can do better so I am going to take a pass at it. Putting a printed page on a monitor there are a couple of requirements; you should be able to move around quickly, your should be able to zoom in up to the limit of the device. When the panel layout is not linear, the elements should be presented in the order the artist intended. I am going to make a comic reader that works right. I am sure there will be things I have not thought of, so this in going to be an iterative process. I will start with india ink on a Windsor&Newton illustration brush and Prismacolor black pencil on illustration boad and present it as a web page.
